From Arlanda airport:
The Uppsala local bus network run special airport buses from Arlanda to Uppsala. The route number is 801. During peak times the buses run every 15 minutes.

By car from Stockholm:
Leave E4 at the first junction (Uppsala S). Turn left in the first roundabout – follow signs towards "Sjukhuset" (Hospital) – pass the hospital and the Castle (both on your right) – turn slightly left in front of the University library "Carolina" – after about 200m turn right on Åsgränd. There you will see our signs. Ask for a parking permit at the reception.

By car from Gävle:
Leave E4 at the first northern junction on road 55. Drive straight through first roundabout. Second roundabout: third exit (Svartbäcksgatan). Drive on to traffic lights at Luthagsleden (after railway bridge) – turn right – at third traffic light turn left on Kyrkogårdsgatan – turn left at the cemetary and then right on Övre Slottsgatan – after the university building turn left on Åsgränd. You will see our signs. Ask for a parking permit at the reception.

From the Travel Centre (Resecentrum) and Arlanda buses by foot:
Outside entrance – go straight forward from the entrance of the old Train Station on Bangårdsgatan to the river – turn right to the car bridge on Drottninggatan - turn left over the bridge and continue to the top of the hill – turn right on Övre Slottsgatan. You will see our signs.
