The hotel is beautifully situated on the ridge between Uppsala Castle and Uppsala Cathedral – two of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Several of our rooms even offer stunning views of the cathedral’s famous towers.

A visit to Uppsala Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Scandinavia, is highly recommended. Here, you can discover royal tombs and centuries of Swedish history. Nearby, Uppsala Castle invites visitors to explore its fascinating past, visit the art museum, and enjoy panoramic views of the city.

Just beside the cathedral stands Gustavianum, the oldest preserved building of Uppsala University and today one of Sweden’s most fascinating museums. We also recommend a visit to the University Main Building and Carolina Rediviva, the university library, where the world-famous Silver Bible (Codex Argenteus) is on display.

Uppsala is closely associated with Carl Linnaeus, one of the world’s most influential scientists. Just a short walk from the hotel, you will find the Botanical Garden, one of the city’s most beloved attractions during the summer months.
