Terms and Conditions

Booking
Number of people, price, accommodation and other products and services that will be delivered by the hotel are specified in the confirmation that you will receive after the booking. Children up to the age of 12 can sleep in the parents´ bed without any extra charge. For extra bed in room, please contact the hotel direct (due to a fee and availability).

Price validity of the agreement
All agreed prices are binding by both parties. However, the hotel has the right to change the prices due to changes in taxes, fees and/or other circumstances without control of the hotel.

Cancellations and failure to arrive
The cancellations is to be made by 6 pm at the latest on the day before agreed arrival. If you fail to arrive without having cancelled, or cancel later than 6 pm the day before, you must pay for one night.

Late arrivals
The room is held until 6 pm on the date of arrival. If you intend to arrive later, you must inform the hotel in advance in order to not risk losing your room to another guest.

Payment
Web price Prepaid:
Your Debit/Credit card will be charged at the time of booking.
Non-refundable bookings cannot be changed or cancelled.

Payment at the arrival:
Akademihotellet is cash-free. The hotel accepts the following credit/payment cards; Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Diners.

To be able to invoice the fee, it has to be confirmed by the hotel in advance and cannot be done at the check in. In case of invoice, a credit control will be made. The hotel only send domestic invoice.

Arrival and Departure
The hotel room is at your disposal from 3 pm on the date of arrival.
You are required to check-out from your room by 11 am at the latest on the day of departure.

Earlier departures
If you have made a reservation for a definite time period, but depart before the end of that period, you are required to pay the same amount as for a late cancellation. In addition to the price for the time you stayed at the hotel, you are required to pay for an additional night.

Identification and minors
Upon request, you are obliged to show a valid ID to be able to stay at our hotel. Guests that are under 18 years of age must stay together with a guardian that can show a valid ID. The hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking in place if the guest cannot show a valid ID. Please contact the hotel before for forms of minors.

Non-smoking hotel
In the case of violation of non-smoking regulations, the hotel will charge the guest for the cost of washing textiles, etc.

Liability for damage
The person who made the booking is responsible for any damage on the hotel as a result of negligence or irresponsible behavior by the guest. At infringement, the hotel will charge for the extra cost that it will cause.

Force majeure
Events outside the hotel´s control – such as strikes, lockouts, fire, etc. that makes it
impossible to fulfill the obligations of this agreement – gives the right to terminate the agreement without liability.

Special requests

Accessible room
The hotel offer one accessible room. If you have special needs, please specify your wishes when making a reservation in order for your wishes to be met to the fullest of the hotel’s capabilities.

Pets
If you wish to bring a pet, please inform the hotel when making reservations. Pets are allowed in some rooms, to an additional charge.

Food
If you have special food requirements (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.), please inform the hotel when making reservations
